@Mirvish’s Bring It On is so much more than sparkle ponies
I was not at an adequate level of enthusiasm the first time I settled into my seat at the newly re-named Ed Mirvish Theatre to watch “Bring It On: The Musical!”After a long day and little sleep the night before, I wasn’t entirely sure I wanted to be at the theatre for the next two-to-three hours.
Don’t misunderstand me: I’m a musical theatre nerd. A junkie even. But for all my knowledge and love, I didn’t know enough about this show to foresee what was coming.
This week has been exhausting and I’m barely halfway through it.
Off to the opening night of Bring It On the Musical tonight - I’m really hoping it lifts my spirits.
